Open bite

What is an open bite?
If you have an open bite, your back or front teeth do not touch when you bite. The space between your upper and lower teeth often makes it difficult to speak or pronounce certain words, and makes it difficult to chew food properly.
It is very important to correct an open bite in a timely manner. Otherwise, the back teeth can become overloaded, causing them to wear excessively and, over time, may even crack.
